Who we are

Our History

Azores Wonders was founded in 2025 by a group of friends who were passionate about adventure and the unique nature of the Azorean islands. Motivated by the authenticity of the archipelago, they felt the need to develop more personalised, immersive tourist experiences that were truly connected to the local identity.

Since then, we have been reinventing the way the Azores is explored, with itineraries focused on lesser-known places, far from the conventional tourist routes, giving visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Azorean culture, traditions and way of life in a genuine way.

We offer a wide range of activities that combine nature, culture, adventure and flavour.

Among our services are thrilling whale watching tours, where you can observe cetaceans in their natural habitat; 4x4 adventures along hidden paths and trails; hiking trails through volcanic landscapes, lagoons and forests; and participation in cultural events that reveal the most authentic side of the islands. For the more active, we offer outdoor sports activities, and for lovers of good food, we offer tastings of regional products such as cheeses, wines, sausages, typical sweets, tea and pineapple from the Azores.

Each experience is thought out in detail, respecting the environment and valuing what is local, to ensure that each visitor takes away not only good memories, but a true connection with the Azores.
