1. About the Company
Azores Wonders is a fictitious company created for academic purposes, which simulates the provision of guided tours and tourist experiences on the island of São Miguel, Azores. Payment
2. Services and payments
We offer guided tours, cultural activities, outdoor excursions and personalised experiences. All information about our services is provided on the website and may be updated without prior notice.
3. Bookings and payments
3.1 Bookings
Bookings must be made in advance via our website or direct contact. Bookings are only considered confirmed once the indicated payment or deposit has been received.
3.2 Payments
Payment for services must be made at the time of booking or as indicated at the time of confirmation.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the date of the activity entitle you to a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may be subject to a withholding of up to 50% of the amount paid. In the event of adverse weather conditions or force majeure, Azores Wonders may reschedule the activity or issue a refund.
5. Customer Responsibility
Participants must ensure that they are in suitable physical condition to carry out the proposed activities. Azores Wonders accepts no responsibility for accidents resulting from reckless behaviour or disregard for the guides' instructions. It is the client's responsibility to inform us of any relevant health conditions at the time of booking.
6. Changes and Cancellation by Azores Wonders
We reserve the right to change or cancel tours and activities in exceptional circumstances, such as severe weather conditions, unavailability of resources or uncontrollable external factors. In the event of cancellation, an alternative or a full refund will be offered.
7. Image Rights
By taking part in our activities, the client accepts that photographs and videos may be taken and used for promotional purposes, unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the website, including texts, images and logos, is the property of Azores Wonders and may not be copied, reproduced or used without prior authorisation.
9. Data Protection
Azores Wonders is committed to protecting its customers' personal data, following good privacy and security practices. The data collected will be used exclusively for the purposes of managing bookings, communicating services and promotions.
10. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the competent court shall be the district of Ponta Delgada, Azores.
